The Trifecta Wellness Story.
At age 26, I became extremely ill, and after extensive testing was sent home to “hopefully not die’ by the medical community. For nearly 4 years I was almost completely bedridden. Emaciated and weak, my appearance was shocking. When I was able to stand and walk, I shuffled, bent over like Tim Conways
100 year old man from The Carol Burnet Show. At the end of my illness, I was graced with a gift in the form of a godly trainer who took me from weakness to powerhouse. In 3 months’ time , this trainer had me strong enough to start readying for a powerlifting meet. After placing and then winning those meets, I knew that I was hooked for life; that if I can go from bed ridden and emaciated to full-fledged champion, others could do this too! That ignited the passion in me that is the still the driving force in me today: that anyone in the sound of my voice will be as healthy and strong as they are willing to go! This is how Trifecta Wellness began. |

Phillipians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”
Hebrews 12:1-3 “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.” We are to be great examples for this and future generations…..I believe that “together….we can do it"! Training Philosophies: • People have the resources they need - Philippians 4:13 "You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you." Let’s work together to find your resources; or learn better to utilize your gifts • Stay positive and solution focused - Philippians 4:8 "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-think about such things." • Readying for the future - Isaiah 43:18-19 - "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland. • Utilize the power of the mind over the body - Proverbs 23:7 "For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he." • We are not perfect, only moving toward it - Phil. 3:13 "Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead." • I am in charge of my mind, and therefore my results - Romans 12:2 "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect." |
